General Introduction – Experience and Abilities.
Rafal is an experienced architect / manager / director in a range of projects from small scale residential and office fitout work to large scale multi-million euro developments. Rafal’s all round experience has seen him involved in all aspects of architectural practice from meeting and dealing with potential clients, project organization and management, development of initial design concepts through detailed design and documentation, control of construction administration and quality on site to dealing with local authorities on behalf of clients.
During his career Rafal has been responsible for project management of big teams of architects and sub-consultants during all phases of architectural projects and is skilled in client and consultant communication and coordination in order to get work done on time and within the budget. Beside it Rafal has been also involved in company and recourses management due to his abilities.
Rafal has been exposed to a wide range of project types including office buildings, embassies, retail schemes, industry buildings, residential developments, multifunctional (mixed-used) constructions, hospitality and interior fitouts. The value of aforementioned projects was ranged at the level of approx. 10 million Euro till 250 million Euro.
Rafal has a wide range of technical and management skills including negotiation ranging from concept design and space planning through to production of detailed documentation and shop drawing reviews up to company management and direct dealing with client. Rafal has played key roles on several projects during construction to ensure that the projects have been delivered in accordance with the original design intent, building regulations and quality expected from his clients.
Rafal has a very good knowledge of construction procedures. This includes a detailed knowledge of building regulations and all procedural aspects necessary to allow for delivery of projects. Rafal has built up a considerable number of key contacts with experienced international consultants (i.e. services and structural engineers, cost managers, fire protection experts like: Arup Poland, WSP Global (Genivar), Tebodin Poland, Hill international, Mace) necessary to complete the most complex projects. Working for international investors and developers like: Unibail- Rodamco, Multi Development , Atrium European Real Estate, Ghelamco Rafal has had a chance to explore international investment environment and improve his management and business skills visiting also some particular clients’ headquarters.
Rafal has worked within international architectural offices and with well known architects abroad and in Poland on a variety of projects. During this time Rafal has been involved as the director, key manager or member of the teams involved with these projects utilising international documentation preparation and control systems.
Throughout his architectural career Rafal has maintained a commitment to excellence in architectural design with the aim of ensuring that the original design concept is maintained from conception through to completion of construction.
